I haven't updated in a year and a half! But since Drew and I just celebrated our 2nd anniversary, I thought I should write something. We went and saw the movie, "Fireproof" on October 1st. I wanted to post this song that was one of the featured songs in Fireproof. It is a beautiful song that drives home the true meaning and commitment of real love.

The Reception was held at Musket Ridge Golf Course in Maryland. It was a warm, beautiful, sunny day. It was supposed to rain, but God blessed us with perfect weather.

My gorgeous sister, Olivia Graham and her husband, Jeff, and adorable baby Zoe. They moved to College Station, Texas in December and are now only four hours away!

My grandmother, Barbara Thompson ("Mimi") who came all the way from Memphis and my sister Margaret, who came from South Carolina! I love you both so much and I miss you!

My talented and organized sister, Kiersten, who helped me every step of the way, as I planned the wedding.

Thanks to all of Drew's groomsmen and ushers that came from all over (Texas, Colorado, Tennessee, California, North Carolina, Alaska, etc) to witness our special day! Several of them are now in Iraq and we are praying for them. One of them is in Australia with YWAM and several are in training for Special Forces.

We enjoyed our wedding day so much and it was because of the loving support of our family and friends. Hello Everyone!

I thought starting a blog would be a great way for us to keep in touch, now that I'm hundreds of miles away! I tell you, Texas is a different COUNTRY, not just a different state! :)

I love being married to Drew, though!

I have been painting our house; setting up the furniture I was given from care-group friends and from yard sales; writing thank-you notes; getting lost trying to drive to "town." (It's an all-day excursion, since the closest Wal-Mart or Starbucks is 45 minutes away.)
